CREATIVITY AND COPYRIGHT
Thursday, May 8, 2008, 3:30pm-5:00pm INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY SEMINAR SERIESThe University of Maine School of Law’s Center for Law & Innovation and the Maine Center for Creativity are co-hosting a series of seminars focusing on how copyright law affects various creative works. Each seminar will feature a creative expert and a legal expert to discuss how copyright has helped or hindered the creative process and the bottom line. All seminars will be held from 3:30 to 5:00 pm in the Moot Courtroom at the University of Maine School of Law. Admission: $5 for students, $10 for the general public, and $20 for attorneys seeking CLE credit. Admission will be collected at the door - cash or check only please. Refreshments included. Pierce Atwood and the Maine Department of Economic and Community Development are sponsoring this seminar series to help enhance the economic power of the creative industry sector in Maine. |
